Sunny Deol is currently enjoying the immense love his recently released film, Border 2, is gaining in theatres, and amid this, the actor has already locked his next project. The actor is all set to collaborate
with Farhan Akhtar and AR Murugadoss for their upcoming project.
The yet-to-be-titled film is touted to be an action thriller and will be directed by Balaji Ganesh, who is making his directorial debut with this movie. While there is not much information available about the project, it has also been confirmed by the makers that the film will star Jyotika opposite Sunny Deol in the lead role, and the movie is scheduled to go on floors in February 2026.
While the makers have said that the movie is yet to finalise its title, the clapboard featured in the photo indicates that it is currently being called Antony.
According to reports, Balaji Ganesh earlier served as an assistant director under A.R. Murugadoss on the Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sikandar. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the action-packed film features a star-studded cast, including Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, and Sharman Joshi. The story follows Salman’s character, Sikandar, on a relentless mission to seek justice and protect the three individuals who received organ donations from his late wife.

Border 2 is racing towards the Rs 100 crore worldwide mark within just three days, underlining how firmly Deol’s sequel run continues to connect with audiences across India and overseas.
According to trade tracking website Sacnilk, Border 2 has collected Rs 93 crore worldwide in its first two days. This includes a gross domestic collection of Rs 78.60 crore from India, while overseas markets have contributed Rs 15 crore so far. The film made a strong impact right from day one, earning Rs 43.5 crore worldwide on its opening day itself, setting up a solid base for the days that followed. With collections holding steady and footfalls remaining strong, the film is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark globally within three days of release.
