Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai 2.0: Aasif Sheikh, Vidisha Srivastava Get Candid About Upcoming New Season

Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai 2.0,  one of the longest-running comedy shows, is back with a brand-new season. It equally promises a double dose of laughter, heightened entertainment, and a playful twist of spookiness. Streaming on ZEE5 and airing on &TV, the new season blends familiar humour with supernatural surprises, ensuring audiences get the best of both worlds. Every actor on Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai 2.0 had to fully immerse themselves in their characters, going beyond performance to truly inhabit the madness and mayhem of the new season.

Speaking about the new season, actor Aasif Sheikh who plays Vibhuti Narayan Mishra, said,” What’s written on paper is one thing, but every actor brings their own inputs to the character. We’ve made an extra effort

to ensure that the comedy never suffers. Audiences will experience plenty of laughs; there’s absolutely no change there. In fact, the horror element only adds to the humour. Tiwari is essentially a sufferer; he’s scared, constantly dealing with bizarre ghostly incidents, and trying to make sense of the chaos around him. That suffering is where the comedy truly comes alive.”

Vidisha Srivastava, plays Anita Mishra, said, “ I’ve been portraying Anita for almost four years now, and this season brings an exciting new dimension. Anita has always been stylish, and that essence continues, but audiences will also see her in a refreshed avatar with a subtle spooky twist. It’s a new package, but the comedy remains the same. There are some changes in my look this time. I’ll mostly be seen in sarees, with a richer, more elegant styling. That said, Anita’s signature style is very much intact .”

Will Saumya Tandon return in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0?

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0 premiered on &TV and Z5 on December 22. Actress Vidisha Srivastava had replaced Saumya Tandon after the latter quit the show. Since Shilpa Shinde returned as Angoori Bhabhi after a decade in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0, fans wondered if Tandon would make her comeback too.

“No, I am not coming back to Bhabiji at all. I have moved on to another project,” Saumya Tandon told Zoom. The actress added that she was occupied with another project at the time. “At the moment, I am doing something else. So that is totally out of question,” Tandon said.
