Meerra Chopraa is switching lanes and she’s doing it quietly, quite literally. The actor has officially stepped into film production with Gandhi Talks, a silent feature that leans on stillness, mood and emotion rather than dialogue, marking the launch of her new banner, PincMoon Meta Studios.
Backed by Zee Studios, Kyoorius Digital and PincMoon Meta Studios, Gandhi Talks signals a clear move away from conventional, dialogue-heavy storytelling. Conceived as a visually driven narrative, the film relies entirely on imagery, music and performance to communicate its ideas. In a time when cinema is often defined by volume and spectacle, the project opts for restraint, asking viewers to slow down and engage with what is left unsaid.
Explaining the idea
behind both the film and her production house, Meerra Chopraa said, “PinkMoon Meta Studios was born from my belief that true power lies in stillness and grace. Silence is not emptiness—it is awareness. ‘Gandhi Talk’ reflects this philosophy. It is a film that speaks softly, yet stays with you long after.”
Music plays a central role in shaping that experience. Academy Award winner A. R. Rahman has composed the score for the film, using sound to give emotional voice to the silence and elevate the film’s meditative tone.
The film features an accomplished ensemble led by Vijay Sethupathi, with Aditi Rao Hydari and Arvind Swami in key roles, along with Siddharth Jadhav.
Gandhi Talks is directed by Kishor Pandurang Belekar, whom Meerra Chopraa has described as a “genius”. The film is slated for release on January 30, 2026.
The project is produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Meerra Chopraa, Rajesh Kejriwal and Kishor Belekar, with Anil Bhandari serving as co-producer.
