Actor Harshvardhan Rane may soon be teaming up with filmmaker Milap Zaveri for a new project, following the success of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. The actor’s recent Instagram post sparked speculation about their reunion, with Zaveri’s response almost confirming the collaboration.
Rane took to Instagram to express his admiration and trust in Zaveri’s creative vision. Sharing a photo, he wrote, “I trust Milap sir’s choice of next massy script for me, If he offers me, I will sign my next heartland film with him blindly.”

Zaveri was quick to respond, leaving little room for doubt. Commenting on the post, he said, “I’ve already offered it to you my friend!!! Aur Haan toh hai hi, zyaada se zyaada haan
hi rahegi (And yes, it is a yes, and it’ll most likely stay a yes).”
While the makers have not made an official announcement yet, the exchange has left fans excited about the possibility of a full-fledged action entertainer helmed by Zaveri and headlined by Rane.
Beyond this potential collaboration, Rane is also in talks for a gangster drama produced by Ekta Kapoor. The project reportedly features an intense narrative centered on crime, power, and redemption, with the actor being considered for the lead role. Rane has also wrapped up shooting for Silaa, directed by Omung Kumar, which co-stars Sadia Khateeb. The film recently completed its Vietnam schedule.
Additionally, the much-awaited sequel to Sanam Teri Kasam is in the pipeline.
Meanwhile, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is a romantic drama directed by Milap Zaveri, who also co-wrote the film with Mushtaq Shiekh. Produced under the Desi Movies Factory banner, the film stars Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles. It was released theatrically on October 21, 2025, coinciding with the Diwali festival.
The film features Harshvardhan Rane as Vikramaditya Bhonsle and Sonam Bajwa as Adaa Randhawa, with Shaad Randhawa, Sachin Khedekar, Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, and Rajesh Khera playing pivotal supporting roles.
Initially announced on February 14, 2025, under the working title Deewaniyat, the film later underwent a title change in May 2025 to Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. The makers unveiled the first look on May 27, 2025, followed by the release of the official teaser on August 22, 2025.
Originally slated for release on October 2, 2025, the film’s premiere was postponed to October 21, aligning with Diwali to maximise its festive appeal.
The film’s soundtrack features music composed by Kaushik-Guddu, Kunaal Vermaa, Annkur R Pathakk, Rajat Nagpal, Rahul Mishra, and DJ Chetas, with lyrics penned by Kunaal Vermaa, Sameer Anjaan, Siddhant Kaushal, Sachin Urmtosh, and Prince Dubey. The album, released on October 28, 2025, under the Play DMF label, has a total runtime of 41 minutes.
