The debut of Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, nephew of Telugu star Mahesh Babu, moved a step forward this week as the makers confirmed the title of his first film. Director Ajay Bhupathi’s project, which also
marks the Telugu debut of Rasha Thadani, will now be known as Srinivasa Mangapuram.
Chandamama Kathalu Pictures announced the title on Thursday, unveiling a poster and confirming that the film previously referred to as AB4 has officially been renamed. Sharing the update on X, the banner wrote, “Two lives. One journey. Two hands. One promise. Two hearts. One destiny. #AB4 is #SrinivasaMangapuram. Get ready to witness a cult that will be a timeless chapter in the world of love stories. Shoot in progress. First Look & more updates soon. An @DirAjayBhupathi Film.”
Director Ajay Bhupathi also released a note on his social media handle, saying, “My next film – #SrinivasaMangapuram. This lovestory is destined to stay in your hearts for ages. #AB4 First Look blasting soon.”
Rasha Thadani, daughter of actor Raveena Tandon, recently expressed her excitement about joining the project and entering Telugu cinema. Sharing her announcement earlier, she posted, “New beginnings, endless gratitude! Mee andari prema tho, I’m stepping into Telugu cinema. Thank you @dirajaybhupathi sir for this opportunity. Chala excited to start this journey! 💫 #AB4 #TeluguDebut. Presented by #AshwiniDutt Produced by @geminikiran_official , under the @ckpicturesoffl banner. @vyjayanthimovies @swapnacinema @anandiartcreations.”
The film brings together several major names from the Telugu industry. Jaya Krishna, grandson of the late superstar Krishna and son of the late Ramesh Babu, makes his debut under the direction of Ajay Bhupathi, known for his hits RX 100 and Mangalavaram.
The project is presented by Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies and produced by P. Kiran Garu under the Chandamama Kathalu Pictures banner. Dutt has long-standing ties with the Ghattamaneni family, having produced Agni Parvatham starring Krishna and later launching Mahesh Babu with Rajakumarudu.
Although further details are awaited, early reports indicate that Srinivasa Mangapuram will feature a love story set against a natural, hill-side backdrop, with a narrative rooted in realism.
