Bank Holiday Today: Banks across India will observe public holiday today, November 05, on account of Guru Nanak Jayanti under the RBI holiday calendar. These holidays are not uniform nationwide and vary

from state to state.

On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, banks in the following states will be closed: Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Meghalaya, New Delhi, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Kerala, Nagaland, Mizoram.

While physical branches will be closed in the above mentioned states, digital services will be available to use.

Banks like Axis, ICICI, HDFC, Yes Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank function from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm or 3:30 pm, depending on the branch. Bank of Baroda, on the other hand, has slightly extended hours, working between 9:45 am and 4:45 pm or 10 am to 5 pm, and Canara Bank typically operates from 10 am to 3:30 pm.
