Aug 29 (PTI) Two men were killed, and another was critically injured after their car rammed into the parapet of a bridge on the Manjarsumba–Ambajogai national highway in Beed district of Maharashtra, police said on Saturday.
The incident occurred on Friday night when three friends were travelling from Kaij town towards Javalban in a car.
According to the police, the driver lost control of the vehicle due to high speed and crashed into the bridge railing, killing Pramod alias Sundar Uttam Satpute (45) and Prashant alias Mahadev Digambar Karpe (48).
The third occupant, Datta Tapse (43), suffered severe injuries and is currently undergoing treatment. PTI COR NSK
