Akshay Kumar is reportedly in talks to headline the Hindi remake of a Telugu family drama Sankranthiki Vasthunam, which stars Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead. The news has already generated strong buzz.

If reports are to be believed, producers are keen to recreate the film for Hindi audiences with Akshay Kumar. However, it is not yet official and other details are also not disclosed.

Times Now has quoted OTTPlay source saying that Akshay Kumar is excited for the Hindi remake of Sankranthiki Vasthunam. A source told the portal that he loved the Telugu film and decided to remake it after watching it. Dil Raju, who backed the movie, will also produce the Hindi remake. The female lead is not yet finalised as the casting process is still underway. Reportedly, it was supposed to go on floors earlier but got delayed due to Akshay’s prior commitments.
