The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer key and response sheets for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 soon. According to media reports, the answer key could be issued today,
January 31. Once released, the BE/BTech answer key will be available on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The results are scheduled to be out on February 12.
Following the release of the JEE Main answer key, candidates will be allowed to raise objection to the provisional answer key by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question is required for each objection. The fee can be paid using a debit/credit card or net banking. No objections will be accepted after the deadline.
After reviewing the objections, the final answer key will be released, and results will be announced accordingly. Candidates will not receive individual notifications about whether their challenges were accepted or rejected.
How To Download JEE Main Answer Key?
Candidates can download the answer key by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link for “JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1 – Answer Key and Response Sheet”.
Step 3: Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
Step 4: View and download your response sheet and provisional answer key.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Application Likely Today
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to open the registration window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 today. According to the official notice, the application process will start in the “last week of January 2026”. Students who registered for the January 2026 session can also apply for the April attempt.
The last date to submit the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 application form is tentatively set for the third week of February 2026. The form correction facility will be available in the last week of February, and the answer key is expected to be released in March 2026.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination will be conducted from April 2 to April 9 in two shifts. Candidates planning to appear for the April session are advised to review memory-based question papers from the January attempt to understand the exam pattern and key topics.
