Drishyam 3 Box Office Day 4: Mohanlal Film Nears Rs 55 Crore In India, Crosses Rs 141 Crore Worldwide

Crowds are continuing to pour into theatres for Drishyam 3, proving that the franchise still has audiences hooked years after the first film became a sensation. Led by Mohanlal, the latest chapter in the thriller series has maintained strong momentum at the box office through its opening weekend.

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film released on May 21 alongside Mohanlal’s birthday celebrations and has already emerged as one of Malayalam cinema’s biggest performers of the year.

According to trade figures reported by Sacnilk, Drishyam 3 collected an estimated India net of ₹13.95 crore on Sunday, May 24. The film showed slight growth compared to Saturday’s ₹13.70 crore collection.

After four days in theatres, the movie’s total India net collection

stands at ₹54.55 crore. Its India gross collection has reached ₹63.34 crore.

The overseas market has also delivered massive numbers for the thriller. The film reportedly earned ₹13 crore internationally on Day 4 alone, pushing its overseas gross total to ₹78 crore.

With that, Drishyam 3 has now crossed ₹141.34 crore in worldwide gross collections within just four days of release.

The Malayalam version remained the biggest contributor to the film’s earnings on Sunday, bringing in ₹11.75 crore. The Telugu dubbed version earned ₹1.20 crore, while the Tamil version added ₹65 lakh. The Kannada version collected another ₹35 lakh.

Day 1 (Thursday): ₹15.85 crore
Day 2 (Friday): ₹11.05 crore
Day 3 (Saturday): ₹13.70 crore
Day 4 (Sunday): ₹13.95 crore

Reports suggest the film has been mounted on a budget of around ₹100 crore, although the makers have not officially confirmed the figure yet.

Drishyam 3 continues the story of Georgekutty, one of Malayalam cinema’s most popular characters. Alongside Mohanlal, actors Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil and Asha Sharath have reprised their roles from the earlier films in the franchise.
