Mumbai, Sep 5 (PTI) Social activist Anna Hazare who is recovering after undergoing treatment for renal infection has extended his hospital stay for another two days on doctors’ advise, his close aide said on Saturday evening.
Doctors at Bombay Hospital here advised continued observation for another two days before Hazare is discharged, he said.
The 89-year-old anti-corruption activist’s health has improved and he is now taking proper meals, said his aide Datta Awari.
Hazare was admitted to the hospital in south Mumbai on Monday night. Consultant physician Dr Gautam Bhansali had said on Tuesday that he was stable and recovering.
“We will leave for Ralegan Siddhi (Hazare’s village in Maharashtra’s Ahilyanagar district) only after Anna’s complete recovery,”
