Leonardo DiCaprio and Billy Zane’s Titanic has etched an unerasable place in the hearts of many. Recently, the two reunited at the premiere for DiCaprio’s new film, One Battle After Another, which is set for release on September 26. Besides the two’s nostalgic reunion, it was Zane’s candid thoughts about DiCaprio that garnered much attention.
At the premiere of One Battle After Another in Hollywood, Billy Zane couldn’t help but praise his Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio’s work in an interview. Talking about the nostalgic reunion, the 59-year-old told Today, “That was a fun reunion!” He added, “His new film is wonderful — One Battle After Another. It’s great.”

Zane continued talking about DiCaprio’s
work and mentioned, “And he just gets better. It’s so good to see his work. Everyone in that film is great.”
In the same conversation, he recalled the several times they had previously met and spent time. The actor reflected, “And reuniting with him on the red carpet at the Chinese. I’m sure we’ve seen each other plenty since the film, but not since, I think it was our premiere [of Titanic] had we spent time in front of that building, and that’s what I guess lit up a lot of people.”
Titanic’s Cast And Crew
Released in 1997, the timeless masterpiece movie is based on the tragic sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912. DiCaprio played the titular character of Jack in Titanic. On the other hand, Zane appeared as the arrogant, proud and possessive Cal Hockley, who was engaged to Jack’s beloved, Rose (played by Kate Winslet). Besides them, the movie also features Kathy Bates, Frances Fisher, Bernard Hill, Jonathan Hyde, Danny Nucci, David Warner and Bill Paxton.
Due to the impeccable filmmaking style and performances, Titanic took home 11 Academy Awards. Also, it turned out to be the highest-grossing film in James Cameron’s directorial list.
One Battle After Another’s Cast And Crew
The upcoming American action thriller film is loosely based on the 1990 novel Vineland by Thomas Pynchon. Written, produced, and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, and others in key roles. Chase Infiniti will also appear in One Battle After Another in her film debut.
Presented by Warner Bros. Pictures on September 26, the film stars DiCaprio as a former revolutionary figure who is being hunted by police officer Steven Lockjaw.
