Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is back in India’s playing XI for the second T20I against New Zealand on Saturday (October 24) and will bat at No. 3. The left-handed batter from Bihar was included in the XI in place of the injured Ishan Kishan. However, in the fixture at Hagley Oval in Christchurch, he will bat at No. 3 instead of his usual opening position.
In addition to Vaibhav, Prince Yadav is also back in India’s XI in place of Mayank Yadav.
According to India captain Shreyas Iyer, who opted to field first after winning the toss, the decision to bring in Prince was due to tactical reasons.
