Sidharth Malhotra has won the internet with an adorable birthday post for his actress-wife Kiara Advani. On Friday night, he took to his social media handles and shared a candid picture of the actress enjoying an ice cream. In the caption, he also penned down a heartfelt message and wrote, “Happy birthday to the one who makes every day a little sweeter…even when she’s stealing my ice cream ❤️😉 @advani_kiara.”
The actor’s post quickly went viral, with fans calling it one of the sweetest celebrity birthday wishes of the year. Several fans also pointed out that the post has silenced the negativity surrounding Kiara’s upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups. In recent weeks, online trolls had targeted the actress over her bold scenes in the film with Yash.

Toxic New Poster On Kiara’s Birthday
Meanwhile, on Kiara’s special day, the makers of Toxic took to the film’s social media handles to drop a new poster, to send birthday wishes to the actress, who will be playing the role of Nadia in Yash starrer.
The poster featured a close-up shot of Kiara Advani in her bold avatar. With heavy makeup and red lip-shade, the actress looked absolutely breathtaking. In the caption of its post, the Toxic makers wrote, “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to our Nadia – @kiaraaliaadvani ✨️.”
Why Did Kiara Advani Sign Toxic?
Toxic is touted as Kiara’s boldest film yet and her posters and music videos with the film’s male lead, Yash, have been making headlines for a long time now. Recently, Kiara opened up about signing Toxic when she told Femina, “When I heard the narration, I was mesmerised by how well fleshed out this character was, all the meat an actor longs for. I felt I had reached a place in my career where I was confident enough to take on such a character.”
In the same chat, Kiara also reflected on not being boxed as an actor and added, “I don’t like stereotyping women in a box. We are so much more than that, so why shouldn’t our characters be?”
Besides Kiara and Yash, Toxic also stars Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on August 26.
