Arunachal governor, CM Khandu greet people on Eid-ul-Adha

Itanagar, May 28 (PTI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor K T Parnaik, Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Thursday extended greetings to the people on Eid-ul-Adha, highlighting the festival’s message of sacrifice, compassion, and social harmony.

Parnaik said the festival symbolises values such as sacrifice, humility, and selfless service to humanity.

“Beyond celebrations, it also promotes brotherhood, mutual respect, generosity and social harmony, while encouraging people to care for the less fortunate,” he added.

Khandu also conveyed his greetings on the occasion and took to X to say, “May this sacred occasion bring peace, compassion, gratitude and togetherness. Wishing everyone happiness, good health and prosperity.”

Mein also extended his greetings to the people. “On the joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha, I extend my heartfelt greetings and warm wishes to all. May every home be blessed with peace, happiness and prosperity,” he added. PTI UPL UPL NSD
