Itanagar, May 28 (PTI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor K T Parnaik, Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Thursday extended greetings to the people on Eid-ul-Adha, highlighting the festivalβs message of sacrifice, compassion, and social harmony.
Parnaik said the festival symbolises values such as sacrifice, humility, and selfless service to humanity.
βBeyond celebrations, it also promotes brotherhood, mutual respect, generosity and social harmony, while encouraging people to care for the less fortunate,β he added.
Khandu also conveyed his greetings on the occasion and took to X to say, βMay this sacred occasion bring peace, compassion, gratitude and togetherness. Wishing everyone happiness, good health and prosperity.β
