What is the story about?
SpiceJet,
in view of witnessing strong and growing demand across key routes this winter, plans to ramp up operations by introducing up to 100 additional daily flights during the current winter schedule, subject to regulatory approvals.
The airline said it has inducted 17 aircraft into active service over the past two months through a mix of damp-leased planes and the return of its own aircraft, enhancing fleet availability and allowing it to deploy extra capacity on high-demand routes. SpiceJet stated that its focus in the coming weeks is to induct more aircraft, maximise utilisation and strengthen connectivity through improved planning.
