Samay Raina roasted Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan during his recent ‘Still Alive’ show. During the show, the stand-up comedian recalled the time he appeared on Big B’s Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2025 and revealed that he had lied to the actor regarding his grandmother being a big fan of the actor.

“Dadi mar gayi hai meri. 7 saal ho gaye hain mere dadi ko mar ke,” he said, as quoted by the Free Press Journal. “Waha maine kiya – Sir dadi meri aapki bhot badi fan hai,” he added and then revealed that he had said it only to “play the room.” “You are not honest on the Indian internet. You can not be yourself. You play the game, you play the room,” Samay shared.

Samay Raina On India’s Got Latent Row 

During the show, Samay Raina shared his most candid confessions about the controversy that happened after Ranveer Allahabadia, aka Beer Biceps, asked a question that was considered obscene by a certain section of viewers. Samay revealed that Ranveer had, in fact, asked the question 8 times.

Samay said that many people asked him why he didn’t remove Beer Biceps’ question from the final edit of the show. He revealed in his joke, “Main tumhe maa ki kasam sach batata hoon. Uss episode main Beer Biceps ne voh sawal 8 baar poocha tha. Aur iske alawa bhi kayi ant shant sawal (rubbish) pooche the usne. Toh ab jab maine edit dekha na, maine kaha, ‘Yeh toh bohot gandi baatein kari hain isne.'”

He added, “‘Chalo ek rakh deta hoon, baaki sab hata deta hoon.’ Toh mere POV se maine toh 99 per cent kitaanu (germs) maar diye the na yaar.” Samay’s honest confession, delivered in his signature style, left the audience in stitches.
