Aamir Khan was spotted outside a Mumbai pet clinic on Saturday with his former wife Kiran Rao and their son Azad Rao Khan. A video of the family leaving the clinic has since surfaced online, with Azad visibly emotional and Aamir carrying a pet carrier.
The clip has prompted concern among social media users, although neither Aamir nor Kiran has revealed why they visited the clinic or shared any update about their pet.
Azad Rao Khan Seen Crying Outside Pet Clinic
In the video circulating on social media, Aamir and Kiran can be seen walking out of the clinic with Azad. The 14-year-old appears to be crying, while his parents also look visibly concerned. Aamir is seen carrying what appears to be a cat carrier as the family makes its way out.
The visuals
quickly led to speculation about whether one of the family’s pets was unwell.
“His pet dog or cat is not well, I guess,” one person commented. Another wrote, “Might be some pet lost its life. Sad.”
A third user speculated that the family may have lost a pet and suggested that this was why Azad appeared upset.
However, there is currently no confirmation about what happened. Aamir and Kiran have not issued a statement about the clinic visit, nor have they said that any of their pets has died. The claims circulating online remain speculation based solely on the video.
Aamir Khan’s Batwara 1947 Hits Theatres
The sighting comes shortly after the theatrical release of Aamir’s latest production, Batwara 1947. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the Partition drama is headlined by Sunny Deol and also stars Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, Karan Deol and Abhimanyu Singh.
The film opened to mixed-to-positive reviews but registered a modest start at the box office, collecting Rs 5.75 crore on its opening day. Its performance over the weekend will now determine whether it can build momentum following the initial numbers.
News18 Showsha’s review praised the film’s intentions and its emphasis on communal harmony while also pointing out shortcomings in its screenplay and treatment.
