Vs Pakistan 1st Test Day 3 Live Updates: Mohammad Abbas claimed 5 wickets to restrict Bangladesh to 413 before two debutant batsmen put Pakistan in a strong position in the first Test on Saturday. Opener Azan Awais struck an unbeaten 85 and Abdullah Fazal, also on debut, was 37 not out as Pakistan reached 179/1 at stumps on day two in Dhaka, trailing by 234 runs. Abbas, 36, was outstanding, taking 5/92 from 34 overs, his sixth Test five-for, after Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto’s 101 and Mushfiqur Rahim’s gritty 71 off 179 balls. Shaheen Shah Afridi took 3/113, while Imam-ul-Haq made 45 in a 106-run opening stand.
