Amaravati, Sep 7 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday congratulated Indian badminton players Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty on their victory at the LI-NING China Masters 2026 in Shenzhen.
Naidu said India had achieved a historic milestone with Satwiksairaj and Chirag’s victory in the men’s doubles event.
“Warmest congratulations to Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty on their legendary Men’s Doubles victory in Shenzhen,” Naidu said in a post on ‘X’.
He lauded Satwiksairaj and Kidambi Srikanth for representing Andhra Pradesh with distinction and elevating Indian badminton to new heights.
Naidu wished the players many more victories on the world stage.
Similarly, Jagan
congratulated Rankireddy and Shetty on becoming the first Indians to win the China Masters Super 750 title with a spectacular comeback.
“Heartiest congratulations to Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty on becoming the first Indians to win the China Masters Super 750 title with a spectacular comeback,” Jagan said in a post on ‘X’.
He lauded their grit, resilience and fighting spirit, saying their achievement had made the entire nation proud.
The former chief minister wished the duo many more victories and continued success in the years ahead.
