A bizarre video has taken the internet by storm. It shows a man getting a haircut while walking through a shopping mall. The clip claims that the man is Bobby Saputra, the son of an Indonesian millionaire,
and it has left social media users both shocked and amused.
The short video, shared widely on Instagram, gained widespread attention for its unusual display of luxury. Many were stunned by the over-the-top act of someone casually walking while barbers snipped his hair.
Getting Haircut While Walking? Yes, It’s True
The clip shows Bobby strolling through a mall as three men wearing masks walk close behind him, trimming his hair while another man sweeps the fallen strands. The post was shared with the caption, “How rich are rich people in Indonesia ???”
On-screen text in the video reads, “Son of Indonesian millionaire Bobby Saputra spotted getting a haircut while walking through the mall. No job, but somehow in a rush.”

Internet Has A Lot To Say
The strange sight drew huge attention online and amassed more than four million views. People in the comment section shared strong opinions about what they saw.
One user commented, “A billionaire among millions of poor people.”
Another called it out by saying, “Whatever this is, it’s vomitously poor taste.”
Someone else joked, “You gotta be brave to be a billionaire. One bad step and there goes your ear.”
“What an absolute entitled jerk. Money does not buy you class,” a person wrote.
“Proof that rich people aren’t necessarily smart people” and “Shows that when the father is a billionaire, it doesn’t mean that the son is normal” were some other remarks.
So, Who Exactly Is Bobby Saputra?
Despite the claims in the video, Bobby Saputra is not a real person. According to a report in Fulcrum, he is a fictional character created by Indonesian content creator Ben Sumadiwiria, who is known online as supercoolben. Ben plays Bobby as a self-proclaimed Chinese Indonesian billionaire playboy and calls himself a “Professional Son.”
In the storyline built around this character, Bobby says his father, William Saputra, is the seventh richest man in Asia and the owner of large companies including bottled water giant Danone Aqua. These details are all part of a satire on inherited wealth and privilege.
What The Parady Stands For
Ben created Bobby as a parody of elitism, nepotism and the obsession with wealth that dominates parts of Indonesian society. Through exaggerated skits, he mocks the attitude of entitlement that comes with inherited status.
According to the report, he once explained that “everyone knows a Bobby” who is a person who is overly privileged, unaware and out of touch with others. His videos turn that personality type into comedy and show how ridiculous it can look when people flaunt luxury without any real purpose.
