It just took a few careless seconds for a scooter ride on a Hyderabad road to go terribly wrong. A tempo hit a scooter head-on as the rider crossed without checking the traffic. The man was lucky to escape
without any major injuries but the incident has now become a talking point on the internet.
The accident reportedly took place on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The whole incident was captured on CCTV and soon the clip of it began circulating online. Social media users slammed the scooter driver for his reckless driving where he didn’t just endanger his life but others’ as well.
Incident Caught On Camera
In the viral video, shared on X (formerly Twitter), a man on a white scooter is seen trying to cross the road. But as soon as he moves ahead, he doesn’t properly check the incoming traffic from the left side and continues to cross the road. Suddenly, a tempo coming from the left side crashes directly into the scooter. The impact causes the scooter rider to fall on the road.
Another scooter rider, who was coming from behind, also loses balance due to the sudden collision but manages to stay upright and avoid a fall. It remains unclear whether the tempo driver stopped after the crash or kept driving.

Internet Slams Reckless Scooter Rider
As the video began making rounds, viewers took to the comment section to call out the scooter driver’s carelessness. Many said that the accident could have easily been avoided if he had just looked both ways before crossing.
One user commented, “When I look at certain accident footage, I wonder if the driver really deserved a driver’s license. This biker is one of them. What was he thinking?”
Another pointed out, “While incoming traffic is on the left side to him, he is looking at the right side. It’s a basic sense to look around while driving.”
“That’s the parallax effect, mistakes made by many. The scooter rider, when trying to cross the double road, he should be looking at the oncoming vehicles on to his left, but he was looking on to his right,” someone else wrote.
A viewer jokingly said, “Scooty driver should be given Oscar.”
Apart from criticism, some users demanded stricter action against the rider’s reckless driving.
