Amid the ongoing Ganpati celebrations across the country, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has recently met Param Pujya Jagadguru Swami Satishacharya Maharaj Ji. The Maharaj Ji also met Mumbai’s CM Devendra Fadnavis. Following their meeting, Maharaj Ji’s team shared pictures from their meeting and wrote a heartfelt caption.
Sharing pictures with Aamir Khan, Maharaj Ji’s team wrote on Instagram, “Jab Adhyatm Aur Cinema Jagat Ki Do Pramukh Hastiyan Ek Saath Aayin.” In the pictures and videos going viral, Aamir was seen in a light blue-and-white kurta paired with his trademark-style black trousers.

Maharaj Ji enthusiastically as he shook hands and then hugged him. Later, he was seen accompanying Jagadguru Maharaj Ji to his car as he bid farewell to him with folded hands.
In one of the videos, a paparazzo even asked, “Kya hone wala hai? Kuch karyakram hai?” This is Aamir’s first meeting with Jagadguru Satishacharya Maharaj Ji. Earlier, when the two had met, Maharaj Ji had asked Aamir to promote dharma through his films.
Devendra Fadnavis, too, met Maharaj Ji and shared pictures while writing, in Marathi, “Pujya Jagadguru Swami Satishacharyaji Maharaj ne Ganeshotsav ke avsar par aaj Mumbai sthit ‘Varsha’ sarkari aawas par bhent di. Is avsar par unka hardik swagat kiya gaya. Unhone Shri Ganpati Bappa ke shraddhapoorvak darshan kar aashirwad prapt kiya.”
Aamir Khan On Work Front
Aamir Khan is reportedly preparing for another major physical transformation, this time for Ashutosh Gowariker’s upcoming sports drama Lalkaara.
Lalkaara has been written by Piyush Gupta and Neeraj Singh and is set against the world of Indian cricket.
While complete plot details remain under wraps, the film is expected to deal with rivalry, friendship and patriotism. The story will also reportedly look at the consequences of Partition through the experiences of one of the early figures associated with Indian cricket.
Aamir’s reunion with Gowariker is among the biggest talking points around the project. Their most famous collaboration, Lagaan, was released in 2001 and featured Aamir as Bhuvan, a villager who assembles a cricket team to challenge British officers during colonial rule.
