A day after she marked her special day, the Bollywood beauty dropped inside glimpses of her intimate birthday lunch on Instagram. The veteran actress is a celebrated name in Indian cinema who began her acting journey at the tender age of seven. In a career spanning over four decades, Padmini Kolhapure has worked in more than 75 films. She rose to fame with films like Zindagi and Dream Girl, becoming one of the most sought-after leading ladies of her time.
But her big breakthrough came with the film Satyam Shivam Sundaram, where she essayed the role of young Roopa. Throughout the 1980s, Padmini has won praise for her acclaimed performances in Prem Rog, Souten, Insaf Ka Tarazu and Pyar Jhukta Nahin. Her filmography also includes celebrated titles such as Ahista Ahista, Vidhaata, Dadagiri, Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Woh Saat Din, Do Dilon Ki Dastaan, Swarag Se Sunder and Panipat.
