The family of Allu Arjun has once again reached out to the family affected by the tragic stampede during a screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule in Hyderabad. On Wednesday, the actor’s father Allu Aravind and wife Allu Sneha Reddy visited the family of Revathi, who died in the incident. The visit has drawn attention because Revathi’s son Sritej is still recovering after being placed on ventilator support following the stampede. The family’s financial struggles also came into focus months after promises of support were made publicly. Allu Aravind meets Revathi’s family A video released by Arjun’s team showed Aravind and Sneha meeting Revathi’s husband Bhaskar and other members of the family at their home. During the interaction, Aravind also spoke
to Sritej’s sister Shanvika. In the video, he tells her, “Will you study well? You must. I will bear all the expenses.” The emotional moment quickly went viral, especially as the family continues to deal with the aftermath of the tragic incident linked to the film’s screening at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad’s X Roads area in 2024.

Sritej continues treatment after stampede
The stampede had left Sritej critically injured. He was put on ventilator support and has since been undergoing rehabilitation and long-term medical care.
The case had also led to the arrest of Allu Arjun. The actor was later released on bail and had promised support to Revathi’s family members. At the time of the incident, Arjun’s family, the producers of Pushpa 2 — Mythri Movie Makers — and director Sukumar had all pledged financial assistance to the family.
Bhaskar earlier spoke about financial struggles
In December 2025, Bhaskar had spoken to the press about the situation at home. He claimed the family had been promised Rs 2 crore but was still facing financial difficulties while managing Sritej’s treatment and care. After Bhaskar’s remarks became public, Dil Raju, who is also the chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation (TGFDC), visited the family. He later stated that the issue had been resolved.
