Star India batter Rohit Sharma, on Wednesday, was seen hugging a young kid wearing a Virat Kohli jersey at the end of Mumbai’s match against Sikkim in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, with the video going viral on social media.

After the game, a young fan in Kohli’s No. 18 India Test jersey rushed up to Rohit and tried to touch his feet.

Rohit stopped the child, instead pulling him into a warm hug, a simple but powerful gesture that earned loud applause and summed up the spirit of the day. Watch the video here:

Sikkim attack with a blistering 155 off 94 deliveries as Mumbai coasted to an eight-wicket victory in their opening Group C Vijay Hazare Trophy game in Jaipur on Wednesday.
