Assam ships 20 tons of honey to US

Delhi, May 9 (PTI) Assam has exported 20 tonnes of honey to the US, the commerce ministry said on Saturday.

Sourced from eco-friendly and pesticide-free environments, honey from the Baksa district is known for its high quality and near-organic characteristics, it said.

Baksa honey has also been identified under the ODOP (One District One Product) initiative. PTI RR MR
