Weekend Ka Vaar on Bigg Boss 19 wasn’t just about fiery debates — it also delivered a heartfelt moment for music composer Amaal Mallik. Earlier in the house, Amaal had spoken about how some people underestimate his craft, assuming his success stems only from his family connections. Touched by his journey, Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar, who star in Jolly LLB 3, lauded the music composer.
Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar graced Salman Khan’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode. There, the duo commended Amaal Mallik. Arshad said, “Yeh saare gaane Amaal ne hi likhe hain. Jab sab bache neeche khelte the, tab woh riyaaz karta tha. I’m so proud of you (All these songs have been written by Amaal himself. While all the other kids were playing downstairs, he was practicing.
I’m so proud of you).” This episode also marked a nostalgic return for Arshad, who hosted Bigg Boss Season 1 nearly 18 years ago in 2006.
Adding to the warmth, Akshay Kumar requested Amaal to sing his beloved track, Tu Kabhi Soch Na Sake from Airlift, filling the house with emotion and giving the episode a soulful close. The exchange beautifully underscored Amaal’s dedication, talent, and the admiration he enjoys from industry stalwarts.
Arshad Warsi was Bigg Boss’ first host
Arshad Warsi served as the host of Bigg Boss’ inaugural season, which aired from November 2006 to January 2007. Battling through challenges, Rahul Roy clinched the title, while the house also featured popular names like Rakhi Sawant, Ravi Kishan, Carol Gracias, Rupali Ganguly, Amit Sadh, Kashmera Shah, among others.
All you need to know about Jolly LLB 3
Jolly LLB 3 brings back two “Jollys”, Jagdishwar “Jolly” Mishra (Akshay Kumar) and Jagdish “Jolly” Tyagi (Arshad Warsi), who find themselves pitted against each other in a legal battle. The film will see Akshay Kumar return as Jolly Mishra while Arshad Warsi reprises his role as Jagdish Tyagi, aka Jolly.
