Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday turned Mumbai’s Bandstand into a sight of pure fan frenzy, as admirers from across the world crowded the streets outside his residence, Mannat. Despite strict crowd-control
measures and road closures enforced by Mumbai Police, fans found inventive ways to reach the actor’s home, determined not to miss the annual celebration.
Videos shared on social media showed hundreds of fans walking along the rocky stretch of Bandstand to reach near Mannat after the road directly outside was blocked. In one clip posted by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani, fans were seen carefully balancing on the slippery seaside rocks, using the beach route to inch closer to Shah Rukh Khan’s residence.

As the day progressed, visuals from the scene flooded the internet, capturing the sheer scale of SRK fandom — with crowds waving banners, holding up posters, and chanting his name. “We love you SRK” and “Happy Birthday King Khan” echoed through the lanes of Bandra as fans waited for the superstar to make his traditional balcony appearance.
Every year, Shah Rukh greets his fans from the balcony of Mannat, waving and blowing kisses to thank them for their love. However, this year, it remains unclear whether the actor will step out to meet the crowd as Mannat is currently undergoing renovation. Reports suggest that the actor has temporarily shifted to Pali Hill, also in Bandra.

In the meantime, fans refused to let the uncertainty dampen their spirits. Videos showed groups running through the streets, climbing onto barricades, and even approaching Mannat from the beach. Many had travelled long distances, some from other states and even abroad, to be part of what has now become an annual ritual.
