Serie A giants Napoli secured a 2-0 victory over AC Milan in Riyadh on Friday in the semi-final of the Italian Super Cup as David Neres and Rasmus Hojlund scored on either side of the break to help Antonio
Conte’s side advance to the final.
Neres broke the deadlock in the 39th minute of the game following some exquisite work on the left side of the box by Hojlund, who turned scorer later in the game.

“We delivered a great performance, both in commitment and intent. It’s an important win for the team,” said Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo.
Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri commented that his team had once again conceded too easily, saying, “Once again we’ve conceded two goals far too easily.”
Napoli are aiming for their third win in the annual competition, but their first since 2014.
The victory in Saudi Arabia came as a quick recovery after Napoli’s 1-0 league defeat to Udinese at the weekend, which left them in third place, two points behind Inter and one point behind Milan.
This is the 38th edition of a tournament featuring the Serie A and Italian Cup champions, as well as the league and cup runners-up, and is contracted to be held in Saudi Arabia until 2029.
