Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, Vadh 2 Day 1 Collection: Both Films Fail To Cross Rs 1 Crore Mark

The week is drawing to a close, and theatres welcomed a fresh lineup of Hindi films On February 6, 2026, two movies, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain and Vadh 2 arrived on the big screen. While one promised lighthearted comedy, the other delivered a suspense-driven thriller.
But despite high expectations from both the films, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain and Vadh 2 reported a slow start at the box office.

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain Box Office Collection Day 1 Inspired by the immensely popular television sitcom, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain entered cinemas with decent pre-release buzz. But the film made a lacklustre debut and failed to make a strong impression on opening day. According to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, the comedy collected approximately Rs 25

lakh in India on Day 1. The film recorded an overall 5.87 per cent Hindi occupancy on Friday. Morning shows saw 5.10 per cent footfall, afternoon shows registered 5.52 per cent, evening shows stood at 5.04 per cent, while night shows performed slightly better with 7.80 per cent occupancy.

Vadh 2 Box Office Collection Day 1
Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta’s mystery thriller had a better opening than Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Although the film struggled to cross the Rs 1 crore mark, it managed to earn around Rs 50 lakh on its opening day, as per Sacnilk estimates.
The suspense thriller posted an overall 7.15 per cent Hindi occupancy on Friday. Morning shows recorded 4.34 per cent, afternoon shows 6.85 per cent, evening shows 6.72 per cent, while night shows saw the highest turnout at 10.69 per cent.

The film continues the thematic tone of the 2022 original, centring on crime, emotional conflict, and moral dilemmas.
While the first film revolved around the murder of a loan shark and its aftermath, the sequel introduces a fresh narrative with the lead actors in new roles.
