Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who played a pivotal role in the original film, is back for the sequel as well. The actor recently took to Instagram to share moments from the sets, where the cast and crew surprised him by celebrating a remarkable milestone, his 550th film.

Boman Irani’s Absence Sparks Curiosity Among Fans
While the first day of the shoot created excitement, fans were quick to notice the absence of Boman Irani, who memorably portrayed the character of Khurana in the original film. His missing presence in the initial pictures led to speculation about whether his character would return in the sequel.

The curiosity grew further with Ravi Kishan’s inclusion, prompting rumours that he might be replacing Boman Irani. However, according to Hindustan Times, Boman Irani is set to join the shoot starting January 8, putting speculation to rest.

Addressing the rumours, Ravi Kishan was quick to clarify that he is not stepping into anyone’s shoes. Speaking about his role, the actor shared: “Everyone is there, I am not replacing him. Mine is a new character. The script is amazing. All my fans will get to see me in a very different avatar.”

Sources close to the production have revealed that the current shooting schedule is expected to continue for another 20 days. Staying true to the essence of the original film, much of the story will once again unfold within a house setting. In addition to Delhi, key locations such as Noida, Gurugram and Connaught Place have also been shortlisted for filming.
