The internet is a vast, unpredictable space filled with content that can genuinely shock, make you laugh, or challenge your perception of reality. From viral memes and unexpected discoveries to AI-generated
fakes, the digital world has the ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. Food trends have always found a home on social media, where unusual combinations, dramatic preparation styles and desi twists often turn everyday ingredients into viral sensations.
From chocolate momos to sandwiches with ice cream, India’s internet audience is no stranger to culinary experiments that spark both curiosity and controversy. The latest to join this list is chai biscuit rolled ice cream—a dessert that has quickly gone viral.
Chai Biscuit Rolled Ice Cream Is The Newest Bizarre Dessert
The now-viral Instagram reel shows a rolled ice cream vendor transforming an Indian staple—chai biscuits—into a frozen dessert. The video, shared by an Instagram user Utkarsha’s Bucket, carries the bold caption “Chai Biscuit Ice Cream” followed by the cheeky line “Chai ke sath Nainsaafi,” hinting at the perceived injustice done to the beloved biscuit-and-tea pairing.
About The Viral Video
In the first frame, tea is poured, along with biscuits, on a freezing cold metal slab. In the next stage, a creamy white liquid is added to it. A vendor’s hand smoothens the mixture with a flat spatula, creating a thin, even layer. As the mixture begins to set, the vendor skillfully scrapes and rolls the sheet into neat cylindrical rolls. Next, the rolls were garnished with chocolate syrup and biscuit crumbs, stacked carefully in a transparent box.

Social Media Reactions
While some viewers praised the creativity and called it a “very good idea,” many others reacted with humour and disbelief. A user wrote, “I would eat it.” Another said, “It’s offensive by law.” An individual gave it the moniker “chaiscream”.
“Acidity se bachcha liya is video ne,” the comment read.
Bizarre Cheeseburger Popsicles Go Viral
Last year, a video went viral where a food vlogger posted on Instagram how to make frozen cheeseburgers on a stick. In the Instagram video, the woman starts by filling a popsicle mould with ground beef for the base layer. She then adds shredded cheese, lettuce, and pickles before finishing with ketchup and mustard. The entire item is then frozen overnight. “A perfect poolside meal and perfect for your summer parties,” she described in the video.
