The video, shared by an Instagram user Utkarsha’s Bucket, carries the bold caption “Chai Biscuit Ice Cream” followed by the cheeky line “Chai ke sath Nainsaafi,” hinting at the perceived injustice done to the beloved biscuit-and-tea pairing.

In the first frame, tea is poured, along with biscuits, on a freezing cold metal slab. In the next stage, a creamy white liquid is added to it. A vendor’s hand smoothens the mixture with a flat spatula, creating a thin, even layer. As the mixture begins to set, the vendor skillfully scrapes and rolls the sheet into neat cylindrical rolls. Next, the rolls were garnished with chocolate syrup and biscuit crumbs, stacked carefully in a transparent box.
