- YAADON KI BAARAAT (1973): She essayed the role of Sunita in this film which continues to be a fan-favourite till this day.This Nasir Hussain-directed film has been”the first quintessential Bollywood film.”
- SATYAM SHIVAN SUNDARAM (1978): She played Rupa in the 1978 romantic drama Satyam Shivan Sundaram, co-starring Shashi Kapoor. The actress received widespread praise for her bold and controversial role.
- DON (1978): In 1978 she stepped into the fearless character of Roma opposite Amitabh Bachchan’s dual role as Vijay and Don in the 1978’s hit action thriller film.
- DOSTANA (1980): Zeenat again teamed up with Amitabh Bachchan in Dostana. The film also starred Shatrughan Sinha. The trio’s power-packed performance made the film one of the highest-grossing films of 1980.
