Many Bollywood celebrities are commemorating Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Gurpurab or Guru Nanak Prakash Utsav, today. The auspicious day marks the birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru and the founder

of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The day is being celebrated across India and abroad with extreme devotion and gratitude.

On this auspicious day, many Bollywood actors and actresses shared their wishes. Maheep Kapoor, wife of actor Sanjay Kapoor, also visited a gurdwara on the auspicious occasion.

The actress was spotted outside the gurdwara waiting for her car. She gently wished the photographers and briefly posed for them. Maheep was seen in a simple white floral suit. She had covered her head with a dupatta, as it’s a common practice at gurdwaras. Many other celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Anupam Kher, also celebrated the day and shared their heartfelt wishes with fans.

Maheep Kapoor’s Special Wish For Shanaya Kapoor

Recently, Maheep Kapoor celebrated her daughter, Shanaya Kapoor’s birthday. Maheep took to Instagram to share a couple of adorable photos of Shanaya on her stories, kicking off the birthday countdown. Maheep shared a charming throwback clip of her daughter and wrote, “Birthday countdown! My baby forever.” In another post, a little Shanaya may be seen hanging out with her father, Sanjay Kapoor. Maheep also used the hashtag “Birthday Countdown” in his second post.

Maheep Kapoor’s Professional Life

Maheep Kapoor made her reality TV debut on Karan Johar’s The Traitors this month. The show, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video, also featured many celebrities, including Purav Jha, Mukesh Chhabra, Apoorva, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Nourouzi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Jasmine Bhasin, Nikita Luther, Raftaar, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sufi Motiwala, and Uorfi Javed. Maheep got to stardom after her appearance in Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Maheep is a well-known socialite, a jewellery designer and an entrepreneur.

On the personal front, Maheep married Sanjay Kapoor in 1997, after dating for five years. They are the proud parents of two children: Shanaya Kapoor and Jahaan Kapoor, born in 1999 and 2005, respectively.
