In recent times, individuals have been striving to balance family time and personal space alongside their careers and earnings. However, for many ensnared in the corporate world, achieving this balance proves challenging. Leaves are hard to come by, and work often spills over beyond office hours.
This was the predicament of Dipesh from Bengaluru, who eventually decided to break free from this taxing lifestyle by quitting his job. Dipesh’s journey, now circulating widely on social media, tells of a bold decision that many only dream of making.
Varun Agarwal, a LinkedIn user, shared Dipesh’s inspiring story. Dipesh struggled with the heavy workload, which left him unable to spend quality time with his wife and children, making it impossible to maintain
a healthy work-life balance. Consequently, he resigned from his corporate job and transitioned to driving a cab.
Dipesh left behind a job paying Rs 40,000 per month to prioritise his family. His former position in a Bengaluru company kept him occupied even after office hours, depriving him of family time.
After eight years in the company, Dipesh’s earnings had reached Rs 40,000 monthly. Seeking a change, he opted to become a full-time driver, allowing him to earn more and spend time with his loved ones.
Working 21 days a month, Dipesh now earns approximately Rs 56,000 per month as a cab driver. He has established specific days off and his financial situation has improved significantly. With his savings, he purchased another car and employed a driver for it. Dipesh is now planning to develop his own fleet. His story serves as an inspiring lesson for anyone seeking to achieve their aspirations in life.
