Shreyas Iyer continued his red-hot form in the Indian Premier League 2026, smashing his fifth half-century of the season. The Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper brought up a 32-ball fifty against Delhi Capitals on Monday (May 11) in Dharamshala, marking his third consecutive fifty-plus score against the Delhi-based side in the IPL. Iyer thus became only the third batter in IPL history to register three successive fifty-plus scores against Delhi Capitals, joining Virat Kohli and Rahul Dravid.
Iyer reached the milestone in the 18th over of the PBKS innings with a cracking six off debutant Madhav Tiwari. The Punjab captain pounced on a short and wide delivery, sending it over deep extra cover to bring up his fifth fifty of the season.
