Actor Adivi Sesh has an exciting lineup of films ahead. He has already unveiled the new release date of his much-awaited Pan-India film Dacoit. The film, which was initially scheduled to hit the big screens in December 2025, has been pushed to 2026 due to the actor’s injury. It will now be released on March 19, 2026.
While fans are thrilled about this update, they are also curious about the sequel to his 2018 blockbuster spy film Goodachari. The film was also initially slated for a 2025 release, but has now shifted to next year. However, Adivi, who is both the lead actor and screenwriter, dismissed rumors of any delay and clarified that he naturally takes time to craft his films with care.
Adivi Sesh Explains Why His Films Take Time To Hit The
Screens
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sesh shared, “I’ve always taken this long to make movies. It’s just that people are noticing it more now. I took just as long to make a major in the pandemic, but people thought it was the pandemic. Back when I was making Goodachari, I took two years to make it. This is just my pace, and the goal is to develop something stunning so that people don’t forget it.”
The Major actor shared that, despite rising production costs in the industry, he has never faced financial pressure. However, he remains very mindful of the budget and finances involved in his films.
He added, “So far the pressure has only been about quality, not about money, because there’s no wasteful spending. The producers know where the money is going in, there’s no surprises. So for me a film starts with a producer and ends with the producer. It’s very important for me that I keep my producer safe.”
Adivi Sesh On His Return To Hindi Films
When asked about his return to Hindi films, the Kiss actor shared, “I was offered two more movies last month, but sometimes it has to catch your heart. The good thing is that it’s being shot in Hindi. Right, I’m looking forward to seeing people seeing me in the film again after majoring in a few months.” He concluded, “I know that, both Dacoit and G2 are Pan India films, and I know that they’re gonna appeal to the entire audience.”
Adivi Sesh was last seen in the Telugu film HIT 3.
