Delhi, Nov 27 (PTI) Diplomat Hifzur Rahman has been appointed as India’s new ambassador to Libya, the Ministry of External Affairs announced on Thursday.
The MEA said he is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
“Dr. Hifzur Rahman, presently Ambassador of India to the Republic of Chad, has been appointed as Ambassador of India to the State of Libya,” the ministry said in a statement.
