Bhuvneshwar Kumar Equals Record Of Taking Most Wickets Against One Team In IPL

Bhuvneshwar Kumar led Royal Challengers Bengaluru‘s fast bowling attack in their IPL 2026 match against Punjab Kings on Sunday (May 17) and picked up two wickets for 38 runs in four overs. He opened his wicket account by dismissing Priyansh Arya for a three-ball duck on the third ball of PBKS’s innings in the 223-run chase and then got rid of Prabhsimran Singh on the fifth ball of his second over. While Priyansh was caught by Romario Shepherd, Devdutt Padikkal caught Prabh (2 runs from 5 balls).

The wicket of Prabhsimran helped Bhuvneshwar extend his tally of wickets to 36 in 26 IPL matches against PBKS. He is the joint-highest wicket-taker in the IPL against Punjab Kings. Kolkata Knight
