Karnataka Cabinet Portfolios Allocation: Shivakumar Keeps Finance, Yathindra Gets Urban Development

Karnataka Cabinet Portfolios Allocation: The Karnataka Government on Thursday issued the official notification allocating portfolios to members of the newly constituted cabinet headed by Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.

According to the notification issued by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Chief Minister DK Shivakumar will hold the Finance, Cabinet Affairs, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR), and Intelligence departments, besides all unallocated portfolios.

Thirteen legislators were sworn in as ministers in Shivakumar’s Cabinet in Karnataka on Wednesday.

The cabinet is likely to be expanded in the next couple of weeks as the sanctioned strength of the Karnataka Council of Ministers is 34, including the CM.
