Have you ever thought about a househelp handing over a resignation letter, just like in a corporate job? Sounds funny, almost like a scene from a comedy movie, right? But it actually happened with a man in Gurugram. He was left both surprised and amused when his domestic help decided to quit in the most professional way possible. And not just a text message, he received a proper hard copy from her. He even recorded a video to share it on social media.
The clip opened with the man saying, “Bhai, zamana bohot crazy ho gaya hai (Bro, the world has gone really crazy).” He then shared the entire incident, revealing that he received an envelope while he was downstairs. At first, he was confused as to what it was. “To you, I’m sorry. But this had to be
done” was written on it with “Read Me” text just on the bottom right corner in bold letters over a red background. Such words led him to think that maybe some girl had sent him a break-up letter.
The Househelp Wrote That The Man Deserved Better
In a hilarious turn of events, it turned out to be a letter from his domestic help. She even signed the resignation letter, writing, “Kal nahi aaungi (I won’t come tomorrow).” The dramatic letter opened with the househelp, writing, “Bohot dino se kuch kehna tha, but hamesha mujhe kuch na kuch rok leta tha, aur vo baatein adhuri hi reh jaati (I have wanted to say something for a long time, but something always stopped me, and those words remained untold.
She continued, “Par aaj nahi bol paayi, toh kabhi nahi bol paungi. Toh badi mushkil se dil pe jhaadu rakh ke keh rahi hun…main…ab nahi aaungi (If I couldn’t say them today, I might never be able to. So, with great difficulty, keeping a broom on my heart, I’m saying…I…won’t be coming anymore).” She then told him that he deserved someone who wouldn’t hide garbage behind the sofa. The guy was still in disbelief over the letter.

Another joked, “Next morning maid be like: Sir, maine kab bola ye (Sir, when did I say such a thing)? ”
“Apke padosi ne ye letter likh ke bhejwa dia hai (Your neighbour wrote this letter and sent it ),” a different user hilariously shared.
