Sharvari has been riding high with the release of two films this year – Alpha, starring opposite actor Alia Bhatt, and Main Vaapas Aaunga, which was directed by Imtiaz Ali. The actor has been receiving a lot of praise for her work, especially highlighting her acting chops in the latter.
Jammu and Kashmir held its four-day film festival for the first time. Called the International Film Festival of Jammu and Kashmir (IFFJK), it ran from September 7 to 10. The major film event featured 135 films from 41 countries, and among them was Sharvari’s newest film, Main Vaapas Aaunga.
The cast and the crew, including actors Vedang Raina, Sharvari Wagh, and Sanjay Suri, director Imtiaz Ali, and singers Sunidhi Chauhan and Deepali Sahay, attended the event.
Sharing her feelings of attending the film festival and the love her film has been receiving, Sharvari penned a short but heartfelt caption on Instagram. She wrote, “Still feels a little surreal to see #MainVaapasAaunga travel this far”
She went on to add, “There’s something about sharing a story you’ve lived with for so long and then seeing it connect with people. So grateful that I got to experience this moment with Imtiaz sir, Vedang and the entire team at the first ever International Film Festival of Jammu and Kashmir. Taking back some special memories from this one!”
For this event, the 29-year-old opted for a military-styled jacket by designer Rohit Bal. It featured a high neckline that went up into the actor’s hairline, an archetypal element of the late designer’s designs. The long-sleeved jacket had a line of beaded buttons that ran the length of the jacket, another distinct feature of Rohit Bal clothes.
It featured a spring of colour flowers sprayed across the cream jacket. Ornate gold elements added a distinguishing factor to the outfit. She paired this jacket with black trousers. The wide-legged pants were perfectly tailored to flow down in a flattering manner. She added a pair of pointed-toe black, slightly sparkly heels. A simple addition, this created a fantastic structure to the look, making the outfit look elegantly elevated.
Sharvari had her hair slicked back into a half-up, half-down hairstyle. She kept things minimal as the jacket was the focal point of the outfit. Her makeup was glamorous but minimal, with a flush of pink on her cheeks and a nude brown lipstick.
For her accessories, Sharvari opted to wear a statement ring with green gemstones, gold and tiny pearls. She wore ear cuffs as well, giving her ensemble a statuesque feel.
