Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has stepped in for Salman Khan as the host of this week’s Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar. Salman had announced his absence during the October 18 episode, citing prior professional commitments, and revealed that the filmmaker would take over hosting duties for the upcoming episode. In a new promo released by JioHotstar, Rohit is seen confronting contestants ScoutOP and Lovepreet Kaur Gill over their physical closeness inside the house.
Rohit Shetty schools ScoutOP and Love Gill over their bond
Rohit Shetty questions their interactions, particularly instances of Scout massaging Love under a blanket, and tells them that their behaviour is not coming across well on screen. Known for his direct approach on reality television, Rohit does
not shy away from addressing the issue, setting the stage for a tense Weekend Ka Vaar. He can be heard asking, “Love, Scout aapke liye kya hai?” Lovepreet Kaur Gill said that she considers ScoutOP a brother. To this, Rohit replied, “Jab voh pair daba raha hai, haath daba raha hai, neck daba raha hai. Love, voh theek nahi lag raha hai. Aap Scout ko bolte ho peeche se daba de, voh aapke calves daba raha hai. It is not looking good at all.”
Scout defended his actions by pointing out that he also gives Mahhi Vij a massage when she asks him to. However, Rohit Shetty reprimanded him, warning that his interactions with Lovepreet were creating an unfavourable impression on screen.
Soon after the promo was shared online, netizens were seen hailing Rohit’s stance. One user commented, “Ab ayega maja Rohit sir Rock love Asif scout very shock very good.” Another user wrote, “Scout and love it’s done.” A third user wrote, “Finally, their cheap tactics are exposed! Thank you, Rohit Shetty sir!” Others were also seen praising the filmmaker.
Meanwhile, ScoutOP’s girlfriend, Kaashvi Hiranandani, is also expected to appear on an upcoming Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar episode to address his growing closeness with Love inside the house, despite being in a relationship with her.
