Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up four wickets for 23 runs in four overs and then scored a six on the fourth ball of the last over of the run chase to play a big role in RCB’s 2-wicket over Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2026 match played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. The win over Mumbai Indians in Raipur helped RCB jump from 4th to No. 1 position in the points table. They have the same number of points as Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans have (14), but due to a better Net Run Rate (NRR), RCB are on top.
Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, remain 9th in the points table, but now they can’t finish in the top four and qualify for the playoffs.
