Medininagar, Jun 8 (PTI) Two persons were killed and two others injured when two motorcycles collided head-on in Jharkhand’s Palamu district on Monday, police said.
The incident occurred near Imli Chowk within the Panki police station limits. One of the deceased was identified as Ankit Singh (22), while the other died in hospital during treatment, they said.
“Two persons were killed, and two others were injured in the accident. One victim died on the spot, while the three others were initially rushed to the Community Health Centre, Panki. Two of them, who were seriously injured, were referred to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) for better treatment, where one succumbed to his injuries,” Panki police station in-charge Deepak Kumar
Singh said.
He said that two persons were travelling on each motorcycle. The head-on collision occurred due to over-speeding and loss of control over the vehicles. Both bikes have been seized. PTI COR RPS RPS RG
