Varun Dhawan is set to star alongside Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur in his father David Dhawan’s film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. With the release just a month away, anticipation for the film continues to build. Now, as per the latest update, Varun’s Bhediya co-star Kriti Sanon will also appear in the upcoming film. According to Mid Day, she has a cameo in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, and will feature in a special dance number in the film’s post credit scene.
Kriti Sanon To Have Cameo In Varun Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai?
Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan recently filmed a high-energy dance number which will appear in the post-credit scene, and it is described as a ‘big finale’, reports Mid Day. The post-credit scene also features Maniesh
Paul. Kriti and Varun reportedly filmed the dance number at Eve, a restaurant in Santacruz, Mumbai, on April 16.
A source told the publication that Kriti’s involvement was a late addition. “It was meant to be a fun comedy track that captures the film’s spirit. The scene also has Maniesh Paul. Getting Kriti on board was an inspired choice, given her crackling screen presence with Varun in Dilwale [2015] and Bhediya [2022],” said the insider.
The source further told the portal that David Dhawan wanted it to feel like a comic twist for the audience walking out of the theatre after watching the film. The track is a quintessential party number, featuring a crowded dance floor, neon-lit visuals, and high-energy beats.
