Every now and then, Madhuri Dixit serves up an ethnic moment that reminds us why she remains the undisputed muse of Indian traditional wear. While celebrity wardrobes are increasingly leaning toward contemporary fusion, her style stays rooted in the classics – proof that timeless craftsmanship never goes out of fashion. Her latest Instagram appearance, draped in a mustard and black Sonepuri silk saree, is a tribute not just to elegance but also to the artisans who preserve India’s weaving legacy.

The six-yard treasure unfolded in a sophisticated dual palette. The body featured a striking interplay between a rich black lower half and a golden mustard upper section, unified through a series of crisp, diagonal stripes. This two-tone effect brought
