New Delhi, Jul 23 (PTI) Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) on Thursday posted an 11.7 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 134.8 crore in the June quarter of FY27, supported by higher income.
It had recorded a net profit of Rs 120.7 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement.
During the latest April-June quarter, the company saw over 10 per cent rise in revenue to Rs 202.8 crore from Rs 184.2 crore a year ago.
IEX is India’s premier electricity exchange providing a nationwide, automated trading platform for physical delivery of electricity, renewable power, renewable energy certificates and energy saving certificates.
The company’s electricity trade volumes stood at 37.5 billion units (BUs), up 15.9 per cent from the year-ago
period.
IEX said its arm Indian Gas Exchange, on July 14, filed draft papers to launch an initial public offering. The proposed IPO comprises an offer for sale of 22.3 per cent equity shares by IEX.
The Indian Energy Exchange, which holds 47.3 per cent in IGX, has to reduce stake to 25 per cent, according to Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) regulations. PTI ABI HVA
